LENKA MINARIK

FOUNDER, LEAD TEACHER

Lenka Minarik is a Vienna-based yoga teacher since 2016. She came to Austria to pursue her job as scientist in the field of Medical Physics at the Medical University of Vienna, where she worked for 10 years. During this time, she realise her heart wants to help others improve their lives more directly than from a lab at the hospital.

In her mind, yoga isn’t just exercising the body, diving deep into a backbend, or balancing on the palms though. But rather about how regular yoga practice can affect and transform the mind and our behavior off of the yoga mat.

Lenka will be teaching anatomy and lead asana and pranayama practice.

KATE HILEROVA

TEACHER

Kate is one of Prague’s favorite teachers who owns her own studio where she shares her passion for ashtanga. Although she first stepped into a yoga class already as a teenager, she marks the year 2009 as the beginning of her journey. After completing the beginners’ course, Kate started attending open level classes and experimented with a wide variety of yoga styles and teachers. Her search for a teacher or a yoga style that would fit her perfectly took her all the way to Thailand, where Kate participated in a yoga retreat hosted by Kino MacGregor and her husband Tim Feldmann. This encounter has been a pivotal moment on Kate’s yoga journey, and she’s been learning from and studying under Kino and Tim ever since. Gradually, Kate started practicing ashtanga up to 6 times a week and began noticing huge shifts in both her body and mind. Her passion for ashtanga led her to opening her own studio where she gets to teach hundreds of students each year.

Kate will teach special hands-on adjustments workshops and an Ashtanga Vinyasa class.
